A Four Month Update
A lot has happened in the past four months. I bought a condo, went to Central America, TN, NY, FL, UT, WY, and all over MT. After the season ended 3 friend and I went to Central America. Then I went to TN for awhile. After I got back I was able to do some fun things here in Montana. I went to Florida for a wedding one weekend. I got 2 kittens in July. My mom and dad came for a visit. My friend Aaron and Sonya came for a week. I also had a booth at the local farmers market selling baked goods trying to get some business for a bakery. It was been a super fun summer. I am not ready for winter which is quietly sneeking up on us out here.
Mom and Dad came out to visit. They were taking a month long road trip out to the northwest and stopped in to visit for about a week. We went down to Yellowstone and the Tetons. We had super good luck with wildlife. We saw 4 bears. A black bear and a grizzly with her 2 cubs. Super rare site. Then even more rare. We saw a couple of wolves trying to round up some antelope. Very awesome.
In April I also became a home owner. Or a condo owner rather. I was tired of watching my rent money go down the drain so I bought a 3 bed 3 bath condo in Belgrade, MT. So far so good!
I was able to spend some time in Tennessee during May. Me and my friend Whitney, went to New York City for a few days. We had a good time there doing your basic tourist stuff and seeing Chicago on broadway. I was psyched to spend time with my newphews who are getting super big so fast.
For about 3 weeks I went to Central America with 3 other girls that I work with at the Timbers. We went to Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. In Honduras we went to on of the Bay Islands, Roatan. It was beautiful. We checked out some Mayan ruins, at Copan. In Guatemala we chilled out in Antigua for a few days and spent time at Tikal, another Mayan ruin. Then In El Salvador we stayed in El Zonte for a week before coming home. In El Zonte we gave a try at surfing. There were a lot of people who met up with us there that are good surfers. I, if you read the post from back in April, had just hurt my knee skiing, so I basically sat by the pool at turned brown. But it was nice.
