Beautiful Hands?

So it seems I may have some fun news to talk about. The people I work with right now are so fun. Last night after we closed the exhibit we to advantage of the bag screen that we use to show people a video presentation and used it to watch movies on. We saw Super Troopers and O Brother Where Art Thou. But the crazy fun came after the movie time. We made a 1:30 run to the Waffle House, this is now the 2nd time I've been to the WH with these people after midnight. Then we took what Craig likes to call a "Fun Run." Craig is our 38 year old exhibit manager who for some reason thinks he is old. He went to UT about 18 years ago, so on a Fun Run you walk around campus and reminisce about the good ole days at UT. So we started on the Hill, why I am not sure, and walk pretty much all around, telling stories and for some of us remembering the good days at UT. Also for some of us it was holding hands with a stranger. Yep, we were standing out in front of the library listening to Craig tell a story when these 2 guys came up to us and just started listening. Let me explain the state of these guys, first, it was about 3 am by now, we were on the campus of one of the biggest party schools in the US and its a Saturday night. You can take it from there. Anyways after Craigs story we started walking on and they followed us, so me, being Ms. Friendly, started talking to him. So as we are walking and talking he starts to hold my hand. A little strange yes, but I've decided sometimes it just easier to go with the flow than make a big scene. He wasn't hurting me, or doing any harm, so I thought ok, I'll humor him, right up to the point where he must have thought we could get a little closer. After he put his arm around my waist, I'd decided that was enough and kindly reminded him that I didn't think we'd known each other long enough to be getting that close. So he decided his time with us was over. Sad. Now before you all start thinking I was at risk for harm, all 5 of the other guys with me were keeping a close eye on me and would not have let me fall into harm.
But it starts a recurring theme with me. You see this isn't the 1st time some random guy on the street has just started holding my hand. Nope, 2 summers ago while I was in Mexico, my friend Ashley and I were asking for directions from this kid, yes kid, he couldn't have been more than 17, and then he decided he was going to way too so he'd walk with us, and as we are walking he just starts holding my hand, tight, like he will not let go. And on top of that, I couldn't understand a word he was saying. Needless to say we jumped on the 1st bus we could. Guys must just be attracted to my hands.
