Summer where did you go? After a few nice days of sun and warmth, we have been taken hostage by dark clouds and cold winds. I thought there for a few days that summer had arrived for good. I guess I was wrong. It is July for goodness sakes. I have to warn you all, DO NOT watch the movie, "The Longest Yard." It is so bad. On Wed. night a few of us went up to Bozeman to see a movie, that was the one we picked. Half way through I was thinking of asking anyone else if they wanted to leave. It's just not a good movie. Save yourselves from the torment of watching it. One of the guys that went with us is a friend of Ian's (the head chef here) and he is from New Zealand. He's a pretty cool guy. He owns a lodge back in NZ where he takes guest fly fishing. They are closed in the winter (NZ winter) so he comes over here to work and do some guiding. What a fun life. 6 months here, 6 months there.
This week at the ranch has been so sloooow. With only around 40 guests we haven't even been close to busy. I thought lunch today would drag on forever. But I suppose I should enjoy it now cause after this week it's busy for awhile.
Soon I will get around to putting up some photos. With my computer dying its not so easy. I am going to have to find some one to let me use theirs to upload them. My friend Scott, that I work with here, has a really cool camera that he's let me borrow for a few days. It's a digital Cannon Rebel. So I am trying to get some fun shots with that. Maybe on Sunday I could take some time to do all that picture stuff. Oh, and Scott too, is a writer and he is pretty good. Maybe if I can get his permission I'll stick one of his stories on here for you all to read.
